Our Class Recipe - Back to School Year 3 and 4
Our Class Recipe is a creative and engaging 60-minute back-to-school lesson designed to help Year 3 and 4 pupils build a positive class community at the beginning of the school year.
Using the familiar idea of a recipe, pupils explore the qualities and behaviours needed for a successful classroom. They discuss ingredients such as kindness, listening, effort, teamwork, courage, patience, honesty and fun before deciding which are most important.
