English Teaching Resources: Complex Sentences  

Our ‘More Complex Sentences’ teaching resource is designed to help pupils gain an understanding of how complex sentences are made and how they can be used to develop writing skills. The resource is made up of an editable 12-slide PowerPoint presentation and includes an easy to follow definition of a complex sentence, three consolidation activities and a fun online quiz to assess understanding. Although it is designed with KS2/3 pupils in mind, ‘More Complex Sentences’ can be easily adapted for use with lower ability KS4 learners.
