The Lion and Albert – Performance Poetry & Creative Writing Resource

This engaging resource introduces pupils to The Lion and Albert by Marriott Edgar through choral reading, performance, and a range of creative writing opportunities. Children explore the rhythm, humour, dialect, and dramatic potential of this classic monologue, combining traditional poetry study with dynamic speaking and listening activities.
