Year 5 / Year 6 Autumn Term Dictation Spellings (PowerPoint and worksheet) 

This resource enables teachers to evaluate spelling in the context of sentences using words taken from the Year 5/6 list of statutory spellings – Term One. The resource includes a dictation worksheet with a list of the Year 5/6 Autumn Term statutory spellings, several dictation sentences - all of which contain the statutory spellings - and a 40 slide PowerPoint presentation to introduce the task and to help teachers assess pupil knowledge and understanding.

As with all our resources, the PowerPoint is fully editable, so sentences can be changed, differentiated or tweaked to suit your specific needs.
