‘Searching for Shakespeare’ is a 40 slide PowerPoint based unit of work designed to help you teach research and note making skills. The resource teaches students the key cross curricular skills of how to research a topic with purpose. It covers skills such as skimming & scanning, using contents and index pages, searching on the internet and how to make effective notes. 

Searching for Shakespeare has been designed for lower KS3 but can also be used for upper KS2 English.
